This rug is 100% hand made on a vertical loom in Iran (Persia). It’s beautifully soft, yet extremely durable and very dense knot count is made from pure hand spun wool. The striking colours are achieved using root vegetable dyes. The warp and weft foundations (or fringes) are made from hand spun cotton.
